I am currently an intern for three medical practices with Ascension Medical Group. Two of the practices are in gastroenterology, and the other is in primary care. 

 

My responsibilities as an operations intern included:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams to implement workflow enhancements.

• Track, analyze, and report provider-level performance data to support organizational benchmarks.

• Lead a Quality Improvement (QI) initiative focused on improving provider performance on key quality metrics.

• Partner with operations leadership to support daily clinic operations across gastroenterology and primary care service lines.
