About
I'm a senior studying Health Services Management, graduating in May 2026. I have a strong foundation in organizational and operational strategies with skills in Excel and bilingual communication.
As I prepare to graduate, I am eager to continue developing my skills and contribute to a healthcare organization committed to quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care.
Why Health Services Management?
I chose Health Services Management because I have always known that I wanted to work in healthcare. When I first came to college, I initially majored in medical imaging, but I quickly realized that the clinical route was not the right fit for me. After meeting with an advisor, I was introduced to the Health Services Management (HSM) program, and I immediately felt that it aligned better with my interests and goals. I enjoy that the program focuses more on the behind-the-scenes aspects of healthcare, allowing me to be involved in improving healthcare systems, operations, and patient experiences without providing direct clinical care.
